The O2 desktop workstation's industry-leading 3D graphics and image processing embody everything you've heard about Silicon Graphics performance and realism. Built upon a native OpenGL graphics subsystem and unified Memory Architecture, O2 delivers a level of interactivity not available with any other machine in its class. These remarkable capabilities are standard with every configuration, giving you all the graphics and image processing you need, right out of the box. |

INTERACTIVE EDITING
INTEGRATED RENDERING
BUILT-IN INTELLIGENCE
Fast, interactive visualization is essential in any good design tool. Architrion takes full advantage of the O2's outstanding graphic capabilities and hardware-accelerated texture mapping.
Users can visualize their model quickly, dynamically, at any moment during the design process and with a level of realism that surpasses traditional shaded models.
Interactive visualization provides instant feedback so you can see your ideas and communicate them better. It shortens the design decision process and allows you to study more design alternatives.
Extremely flexible editing tools make you the sculptor of a malleable model. Modify it at will. Carve, reshape, punch holes and stretch it in any way you wish. All editing and creation tools work not only in plan but also in any isometric or sectional views.
For advanced visual studies, Architrion provides museum quality lighting and rendering tools available at any time during the design process. Experiment with textures, materials, natural and artificial lighting for a look beyond conventional rendering. The ability to create ultra-realistic images directly in Architrion not only facilitates the communication of your ideas to colleagues and clients, but also
saves precious time typically lost in transfers to other rendering packages.
A new technology called Design-TrackTM is built into every tool. Design-TrackTM ensures that the software maintains the design constraints you set up when you create your design. When a part of the design is changed, the other parts adjust automatically
according to the established relationships. This is accomplished without a single line of parametric programming.
This cross-section shows a row of columns that were specified to be attached to the roof. When the roof is raised the columns are automatically adjusted to the new height.
In this example, the openings on the wall were set to a maximum of six. The culumns were created with fixed spacing. When the wall is streched, the spacing between the openings is automatically adjusted and more columns are automatically added at the set spacing.
