dVISE is a virtual world authoring and simulation software tool. It allows the non-programmer to easily develop virtual worlds, animate them with intelligent and realistic properties, and experience them in partially or fully immersive modes. dVISE requires Division's dVS runtime environment and runs on any Silicon Graphics system from Indy to ONYX, with or wihtout virtual reality peripherals. It accepts three-dimensional models from various sources, including AutoCAD, 3D Studio, Alias/Wavefront, MultiGen, CADDS 4 & 5X, CATIA, Intergraph EMS & Microstation, IGES, and any system producing standard .DXF files.
