Central Data's scsiTerminal Servers provide high-performance serial and parallel ports for IRIX-based workstations. They connect to the SCSI port and can be added without even opening the system cabinet since no internal card slots are required. Several models are available ranging from a unit with 2 serial ports and a parallel port to a 16 serial port unit. Baud rates up to 115K are supported. scsiTerminal Servers share the SCSI bus with other scsiTerminal Server models or other SCSI peripherals, providing extremely flexible I/O expansion options. scsiTerminal Server ports are ideal for connecting modems, printers and terminals.
