MARC is a general-purpose finite element code for advanced engineering analysis, with special emphasis on nonlinear structural and thermal problems. It represents the state-of-the-art in computational mechanics-featuring automated contact analysis, adaptive meshing; interactive solvers which are especially effecient for large-size problems, reduced integration elements using hourglass control which are both accurate and fast, and as extensive material library for modeling modern materials with nonlinear properties. User subroutines are avaliable to help the user customize goemetry, loads, boundary conditions, and material behavior.
