EasyRead is an intelligent optical character recognition software that automatically converts scanned documents into ASCII text without tedious retyping. The recognized text can then be edited, searched, and imported into almost any desktop publishing program.
EasyRead uses intelligent "omnifont" character recognition technology to recognize virtually any typeface without going through tedious training procedures. EasyRead supports Motif graphical user interface and has direct interface to Pictronics' EasyScan Image Scanning Systems for direct image scanning.
